WFH Bookkeeper (Part-Time & Full-Time)

Seattle, WA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Bookkeeper to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently in a work-from-home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial statements
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and send invoices; follow up on outstanding payments
  • Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
  • Generate financial reports (profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow)
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Assist with tax preparation by organizing financial data
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, or internal teams as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Work Schedule

  • Part-Time: Typically 10–25 hours per week
  • Full-Time: 30–40 hours per week
  • Flexible hours depending on company needs
